Police have recovered the body of a 10 years old child named Mohammad Rabiul Islam4 days later after missing in Ashulia. Rabiul's body was recovered from under the stairs of Abul Hossain's house next to a five-star school in Durgapur area of AshuliaKathgarh on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Rabiul, son of Mohammad Sumon Hossain of Pabna district. He used to study with his family at a local madrasa in the rented house of Al-Amin Sheikh in Durgapur area of Ashulia.
Locals said that the residents of the area had been getting bad smell inside the house since Saturday. The locals informed the police after seeing Rabiul's body under the stairs of the house this afternoon. Police later recovered the body of the deceased from the spot.
Police said, the missing child's father was a rickshaw puller and his mother worked in a garment factory.
Rabiul's father Sumon Hossain said, after not finding the boy at home, the owner's father-in-law Kalim Uddin went to Majhi's house to look for him.
He late lodged a general diary (GD) with Ashulia Police Station on Friday afternoon.
