Chelsea look forward for something good at Leicester City

AChelsea  team who look to have turned a corner head to Leicester in the Premier League tomorrow (Saturday) with a renewed hope of salvaging at least something from this season.

While Graham Potter’s side have an awful lot more to prove, following up Saturday’s nervy win over Leeds with a reasonably dominant turnaround victory against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League was a good way to start.

After so many problems during the opening few months of his time in west London, Potter’s assertion that his squad is still playing for him looks to be true.

Both Enzo Fernandez and Kai Havertz stressed their support of the Blues boss following Tuesday night’s win and, now, it’s time to follow that up on the pitch.

Leicester, meanwhile, lost to Southampton last time out and are under pressure to pull away from the relegation scrap they currently lie dangerously close to.

Here’s everything you need to know about the game.

James Maddison returned for the Foxes against Southampton and looks set to feature once more. Kelechi Iheanacho, meanwhile, appears to be the favoured choice up front over Jamie Vardy despite his string of misses on the south coast.

YouriTielemans, Jonny Evans and Ryan Bertrand are all thought to be ruled out of action for a while yet.

For Chelsea, Potter has returned to the back-three system that served him well during his first few matches. Benoit Badiashile is available in domestic competition on that front, though the performances of Wesley Fofana, Marc Cucurella and KalidouKoulibaly on Tuesday should be enough to see them star

Elsewhere, not too many changes are expected, with Havertz leading the line alongside Raheem Sterling and Joao Felix.

Christian Pulisic returned from his injury on Tuesday and should be in the squad at least.

It seems as if something has clicked at Chelsea in the last week or so, while Leicester remain wildly inconsistent. With that in mind, an away win looks a safe bet.
