Chattogram want to get back on track in BPL

Sylhet is officially the home ground of Sylhet Sunrisers in BPL. However, the Chattogram Challengers can claim that the home ground is actually theirs. There is only one Sylhet cricketer in the Sylhet Sunrisers squad. On the other hand, the Chattogram team has four cricketers who are from Sylhet. These cricketers from Sylhet want to play a role in bringing the team back to fight in familiar conditions.

BPL came to Sylhet after crossing Dhaka and Chattogram. Six matches will be played in three days at Sylhet International Cricket Stadium from Monday (February 7). In a do or die match the Chattogram Challengers will take on Minister Dhaka on the 7th. Although they played well at the beginning of the tournament, they lost three matches in a row and are in dismal form. The team now has no choice but to win the remaining two matches to give them a chance for qualifying in the next round.

Chattogram Challengers came to Sylhet first to play their ninth match in the tournament and practiced on Saturday. After the team's practice, Sylhet pacer Raja, who plays for Chattogram, said that they want to take advantage of the conditions they know.

‘I will try to do better if I get the chance. The weather is a bit cold, but we still enjoy the practice session. '

'Since we have an idea about the home ground, the field, the wicket. I will try to take advantage. We have two matches. I think it would be better if we could go match by match. We will try to win the next match.

Raja is getting regular opportunities in Chattogram squad. They took Nasum Ahmed directly to the team before the draft. Nasum is still the best bowler of the Chattogram team. After both Zakir and Enamul Jr. joined the team, they have not got a chance to play yet. The possibility of Raja playing with Nasum against Dhaka is also strong. Zakir may also get a chance at home.

Raja said that even though he plays for Chattogram, he was ready to play desperately at his home ground. Looks like I'm playing at home. Feelings are different. As I will be playing in my familiar conditions, I am looking forward to take advantage of this. '
