The newly established Chattogram Medical University has celebrated the birthday of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman with due respect.
The day, March 17, is also the national children’s day.
Vice-chancellor of the University Prof Ismail Khan led the faculty and guests to place floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu.
Later at a discussion, he urged all to practice Bangabandhu’s ideals to take the country forward.
BITID’s director Prof Dr M A Hasan, exam controller of the Chattogram Medical University Dr Delwar Hossain, director finance Masudur Rahman, acting registrar Dr Hasina Nasreen, deputy-director planning and development Dr. Bidduth Barua, and BITID’s deputy director Dr. Bakhtiar Alam were, present, among others, at the discussion.
