Chanchal Chowdhury-starrer film ‘Padatik’ will be screened at The International Film Festival of Kerala (IFFK) to be held 8 December to 15 December in Kerala, India.
According to the IFFK’s website, ‘Padatik’ will be shown in the category of Indian Cinema Now at the festival.
Directed by noted filmmaker Srijit Mukherji, the film ‘Padatik’ is on the life of renowned Bengali filmmaker Mrinal Sen. Seasoned actor Chanchal Chowdhury will essay the role of Mrinal Sen in the film while Kolkata’s actor Monami Ghosh will be seen as Gita Sen, wife of Mrinal Sen.
Earlier, the film was screened at London Indian Film Fest on 4 November. Chanchal Chowdhury has earned huge acclamation for his performance in Padatik.
