The ninth-grade lottery for admission will be conducted on December 19 for all the private schools of Dhaka while the same will be held for all the public schools on December 15. Admission form fill-ups, lottery, and results will be published through Teletalk mobile system.

It is learned that the students selected in the lottery from first to the ninth grade of government schools will be admitted from December 15 to December 23. Admission from the waiting list will be made between 26 to 30 December. Students selected through a lottery system for private schools will be admitted from 21st to 27th December.

Motijheel Ideal School and College Principal Shahan Ara Begum told the media, "We appreciate the central lottery system in private schools as well. Since the fifth-grade education final and the eighth-grade JSC-JDC examinations are not being held this time, there will be no problem if the lottery is organized centrally.”

She added that the admission of the selected students who fail to produce valid documents will be canceled. The lottery will be held separately in each quota including the general quota.

Heads of top public and private educational institutions of the capital were present at the meeting.
