Double-mooring Police Station in Chattogram has been brought under the CC cameras. The CC cameras have been installed in that area with the financial assistance of one of the biggest steel industry companies of Kabir Re-Rolling Steel Mills (KSRM).
KSRM has helped in this work as part of contributing to social development as well as business. Checks were handed over at KSRM head office on Monday.
Inspector (Investigation) Mohammad Zahir Hossain received the check for double mooring police station. He said, often due to lack of specific identification it becomes difficult for many criminals to come under the law. In the area of double mooring police station, the criminals can be identified as setting up of a CC camera and prevent crime in the area.
He thanked the KSRM authorities for providing financial support for setting up the CC cameras in the Double Mooring Police Station area.
Among others, Gosaildanga Ward Councilor Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, KSRM Human Resources Division GM Syed Nazrul Alam, Marketing Jami Jasim Uddin, Legal Advisor Lt. Colonel (retd) Zahidul Ahsan, Brand Co-ordinator Muniruzzaman Riyadh and senior officer Mizan-ul-Haq were present at the time.
