Case filed against 13 JMB men

An official of counter terrorism and transnational crime (CTTC) unit filed a case with Fatulla model police station under anti-terrorism act accusing thirteen neo-JMB men on Tuesday night over the drive against JMB den at Takkarmath area of Fatulla on Monday last.

Among the picked up persons on September 23 block raid two were included in the case story and also four others were mentioned named while seven others are unnamed accused.

The case petitioner is a sub-inspector of counter terrorism and transnational crime (CTTC) unit named Molesur Rahman.

Fariduddin Rumee,27, a teacher of Ahsanullah science and technology private university, Mishuk khan Mizan who is a final year student of Narayanganj polytechnic institute, Rumee’s brother Jamaluddin Rafik,25, a teacher of Khulna science and technology university were included named accused in the case story, police confirmed.

Jannatul Foyara Anu,23, wife of Fariduddin, a bank employee who was also picked up on Monday drive got released from CTTC custody as did not found any connection with JMB activities. Officer-in-Charge of Fatulla model police station Aslam Hossain said that the case was filed in anti-terrorism act. So, the name of accused of all are not mentionable as the drive is still going on.
