Carpeting work of three km road from Akbar intersection in Ishwardi municipal area to to Benarsi Palli Bhaban in Fateh Mohammadpur of Pabna has been inaugurated.
Nuruzzaman Biswas, Member of Parliament from Pabna-4 (Ishwardi-Atgharia) constituency inaugurated the carpeting work on Thursday morning.
Mayor of Ishwardi Municipality Ishaq Ali Malitha, Executive Engineer Municipalty Abu Zafar Mohammad Reza, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Ishwardi Police Station Md Asaduzzaman, Municipality panel Mayor Abul Hashem and Councilor Aminul Islam Swapan were present during this time, among others.
Abu Zafar Mohammad Reza, said that under the Local Government Rural Development (LGRD) project’s UGIIP-3 and in collaboration with World Bank, carpeting work of about three km road from Akbar intersection in municipal area to Benarsi Palli Bhaban in Fateh Mohammadpur has been inaugurated.
“Don Enterprise, a Natore-based contractor, will carry out the work. The cost of carpeting the three km road has been estimated at around Tk 2 crore,” he added.
