Eight parties including Independent candidates have been running their election campaigns in all five parliamentary seats in Narayanganj amid a festive atmosphere.
Four candidates are serious for election and all kinds of polling appeal to the voters conducting door to door every day in the constituency-1 (Rupganj). Awami League candidate Golam Dostogir Gazi, Trinmul BNP candidate Adv Taimur Alam Khandoker, Jatiya Party (JP) candidate Saiful Islam and Independent candidate Shajahan Bhuiyan, who is a man of ruling party Awami League. A total of 3,85,616 voters are there in this constituency. In the constituency-2 (Araihazar) three candidates have been warmed by polling ground through their canvas for their own voting without considering party boundaries. Nazrul Islam Babu, Awami League nominated candidate and his strong rival is Alamgir Shikdar Loton of Jatio Party. Abu Hanif Ridoy, a Trimul BNP candidate also campaigned in the election ground. A total of 3, 33,267 votes are in this constituency. Three candidates are in the warm election in constituency-3 (Sonargaon). Awami League nominated candidate Abdullah Al Kaisar Hasnat, Jatiya Party candidate is Liakot Hossain Khoka and Bikolpo Dhara candidate are Nayan Das seeking votes door to door. A total of 3, 45,638 voters are in this constituency.
Awami League candidate AKM Shamim Osman and three others candidates are in election ground for winning the 12th JS elections from Narayanganj-4 constituency (Fatulla-Shiddhirganj). Bangladesh supreme party candidate Selim Ahmed, trinomul candidate Ali Hossain, Jatio samajtantrik dal nominated Syed Hossain are in campaigning for winning in the election. A number of 6, 96,139 voters are waiting to exercise their votes in this parliamentary seat. Only a seat in Narayanganj-5 (sadar-Bandar) there has no Awami League candidate and the Jatio Party nominated candidate AKM Selim Osman are supported by Awmi League led political alliances.
Three candidates are in the field of vieyng for election- AKM Selim Osman from grand alliance, AMM Ekramul Haq for Islami front of Bangladesh and Abdul Hamid Bhashani from trinomul Bnp are in race of election. A number of 4, 440,00 voters will exercise their votes in this constituency.
