Bangladesh national football team’s head coach Javier Cabrera called 11 footballers from Bashundhara Kings after their returning home from Bhutan.
Meanwhile, Bashundhara Kings, who have been eliminated from the first phase of the AFC Challnege League afetr suffering defeat in all their group matches returned and Cabrera 11 booters from Kings.
Bangladesh will play two FFIA friendly matches against Maldives at home in November and for these matches, the Spanish coach earlier called 16 footballers and now added 11.
Cabrera started training from November 1. There were two goalkeepers in that squad. Among the other 11 footballers, he called from Bashundhara Kings, there are two goalkeepers Zico and Shravan. So when the coach will finalise the 23-man sqaud will hav to choice two off three goalkeepersa.
However, Jamal Bhuiyan, the captain of the national team, who is not in the squad this time, will not available in the two FIFA friendlies due to his family affairs.
Bangladesh national team played a practice match against Forties FC at Kings Arena on Monday.
Newuly included 11 footballers are - Anisur Rahman Zico, Mehdi Hasan Shravan, Chandan Roy, Saad Uddin, Tapu Burman, Rabbi Hosne Rahul, Mujibur Rahman Johnny, Sohail Rana, Rakib Hossain, Sheikh Morsalin and Faisal Ahmed Fahim.
