Bangladesh national Women’s coach Peter Butler made three changes in the Myanmar bound squad, as he picked a 23-member squad for AFC Women's Asian Cup Qualifiers from June 29-July 5 in Myanmar.
Among the tyhreee changes, goalkeepers Saurna Rani Mandal and Mile Akter replaced Meghla Rani Roy and Fardosi Akter with experienced defender Nilufa Yasmin Nila made a comeback to the squad replacing Shanti Mardi.
The English coach brought changes in the squad that fielded against higher-ranked Jordan and Indonesia and drew the matches in two friendly matches in May and June as part of their preparation for qualifiers.
Bangladesh are scheduled to leave for Myanmar in early hours today when they will begin their qualifying campaign against Jordan on June 29.
Bangladesh women will play their vital match when they will face off group favourites and the hosts Myanmar on July 2 followed by the encounter against Turkmenistan on July 5. Only the Group champion will qualify for next year's Women's Asian Cup, which will be held in Australia.
