Allegations of attack, vandalism and looting have been received in a businessman’s house named Ruhul Amin Molla in South Jalidpar area of Muksudpur, Gopalganj. He is the son of Gias Uddin of Molladi village of Raghadi union of Muksudpur upazila. He has built a house in South Jalipar and has been living there for several years.

On Monday (February 26), the victim and local sources said that businessman Ruhul Amin Mollah's brother-in-law Babu Sheikh (25) was in charge of inspecting the three-storeyed building in his absence. He told the mediapersons that yesterday Saturday (February 25) around 12:00 noon due to previous enmity, a group of 15/20 unidentified persons including Char Prasannadir Russell, Ashiq, Akash Sagar armed with indigenous weapons came in front of the iron collapsible gate under my Dulabhai's building and shouted. They broke the lock of the gate with a hammer and brick and forcibly entered the 3rd floor of the building and destroyed the bed and other furniture and took various goods including Rs. When I resisted, they slapped me and threatened to kill me with sharp weapons, at one point I fell unconscious. Later, while leaving, they smashed various windows of the building by hitting them with bricks.

Heard they are an active organized terrorist group of local youth gangs. I demand exemplary punishment by bringing the culprits under the law through fair investigation. In this regard, several neighboring families were seen to be scared when they visited the area. On condition of anonymity, they said that on Sunday afternoon, a group of 15-20 people armed with local weapons attacked and vandalized the house of Ruhul Amin Molla and killed and injured his brother-in-law. and looted the goods and left.

Later we go and heal by serving with oil and water. If Ruhul Amin Mollah is guilty of anything. Then there are laws and regulations in the country for that. We are currently in extreme insecurity.

Requesting the intervention of all concerned to maintain peace, order and security in the area with proper punishment of the culprits through fair investigation. According to the source of the victim's family, the case is being prepared.
