A tripartite housing loan agreement has been signed between Barishal University, Ministry of Finance and Sonali Bank over housing loan for teachers, officials and employees of the university.
Under this agreement, teachers, officers and employees of Barishal University will be able to take low interest housing loan.
The tripartite agreement was signed with four universities, including Barishal University on Friday (February 26) in the conference room of the Ministry of Finance.
The agreement was signed on behalf of Barishal University Registrar Professor. Dr. Md. Muhsin Uddin, Additional Secretary of the Ministry of Finance Ekhlashur Rahman and Deputy Director Md Afzal Karim signed on behalf of Sonali Bank. General Secretary of the Barishal University Teachers Association Dr Md Khorshed Alam, officials of the Ministry of Finance and representative of Bangladesh Bank were also present at the time.
