Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Science and Technology University Journalists' Association celebrated its 6th anniversary on Tuesday in a befitting manner.
The programme started at 12.00am by placing floral wreath at the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara in Gopalganj.
At 2.00pm, the members of BSMRSTUJA brought out a procession led by BSMRSTU vice-chancellor Professor Dr. AQM Mahbub. Later a cake was cut on the occasion by VC Prof Dr. AQM Mahbub. Teachers and employees of the university also attend at the ceremony.
Marking the day, Dr AQM Mahbub said, ‘Journalism is a very risky profession.
I expect the members of BSMRSTUJA will always be on the path of truth.’
