A training course on Annual Performance Agreement (APA) of Bangladesh Small and Cottage Industries Corporation (BSIC) has been held.
Annual Performance Contract (APA) training course organized by BSIC Training Branch online (via Zoom) was held on 11 August 2021 with the aim of enhancing the skills of APA team members, Regional Offices, Industrial City Offices and Head Office APA officers.
A total of 96 officers participated in the training course. The Chief Guest was Mr. Md. Mushtaq Hasan, Chairman, BSIC, NDC and Mr. Swapan Kumar Ghosh, Director (Finance) presided over the training course held from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm.
Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan, Joint Secretary, Cabinet Division, Mr. Md Khalilur Rahman, Former Director (Industrial Development and Extension), BSCIC and Mr. Nepal Chandra Karmakar, Current Director (Industrial Development and Extension) conducted the training course as Resource Person. Md Mamunur Rashid Bhuiyan, Joint Secretary, Cabinet Division, briefed the trainees on various issues related to the formulation and implementation of APA and discussed ways to solve them in the light of Annual Performance Agreement (APA) Preparation, Monitoring and Evaluation Guidelines 2021-2022.
Director (Industrial Development and Extension) Mr Nepal Chandra Karmakar discussed in detail the process of preparation, maintenance and transmission of APA progress report with emphasis on proper formulation and proper implementation of Annual Performance Agreement (APA) and provided various directions for formulation and implementation of APA Agreement.
Laila Jasmine, Manager of the Training Branch acted as the Course Director and Kaushik Sarkar, the Training Officer acted as the Course Coordinator. The course is successfully completed by teaching in accordance with the complete hygiene rules in collaboration with all those involved in the training. It is hoped that the training will play an important role in the proper formulation and implementation of APA by BSCIC officials.
