Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association Rajshahi Divisional Committee has been formed.
Rajshahi Road Transport Joint Secretary Safkat Manzur Biplob as President, Bangladesh Road Transport Owners Association Organizing Secretary and Bogra District Motor Owners Group General Secretary Aminul Islam as General Secretary, Pabna Motor Owners Leader Abul Ahsan Khan Ryan as Acting President, Naogaon Motor Owners Leader Shafiqul Islam.
The committee was formed with K Mojibar Rahman, senior vice-president and Natore Motor Owner, as organizational secretary.
In a day-long emergency meeting in Bogra on Wednesday, the committee was unanimously formed in the second session in the afternoon.
The meeting was attended by transport owners and workers leaders of all districts of Rajshahi division. Rafiqul Islam, divisional acting president of the Road Transport Workers Federation, presided over the meeting at Charmatha Century Motel in the city. District Motor Owners Group General Secretary Aminul Islam, Joint Committee Divisional Leader Safkat Manzur Biplob, Shah Akhtaruzzaman Duke, Abul Ahsan Khan Ryan, Mahatab Ali, Tawfiq Hasan Moyna, Mosharraf Hossain Bulbul spoke.
Speakers at the meeting said that care should be taken to ensure that no outsider enters the organization and creates chaos. Real transport owners need to be united so that no selfish person can infiltrate and take advantage.
He called upon all to work together for the formation of Bangabandhu Sonar Bangla under the leadership of Sheikh Hasina.
