New Horizon Canadian International School introduced the British Columbia curriculum in Bangladesh.

In addition to the general academic subjects, the BC curriculum offers courses in Humanities, Arts, Technology, Physical Education, and Social Emotional Learning. It focuses on building and nurturing communities, and encouraging children to serve people in meaningful ways.
Teachers at NHCS are extensively trained to teach students to think and learn critically and build a positive self-image. Consequently, students become capable of making independent decisions. NHCS is currently pre-certified for the BC curriculum, and it will receive the full certification by the British Columbia ministry of education in December 2023.
