A mobile court has fined FBB I Brick Field Tk 1 lakh for illegal hill cutting in Mirsharai, Chittagong. On Friday night, Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahfuza Zerin conducted this operation.
It is known that the hill soil was cut and taken to FBB I brick field on the north side of the railway line in Talbaria area of Mirsrai Sadar Union. In view of this, the Upazila Nirbahi Officer conducted a raid and imposed a fine of Tk 1 lakh. At this time, he also blocked the road to take soil
illegally.
Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mahfuza Zerin said that FBB I Brick Field has been fined Tk 1 lakh as per Soil Management Act 2010 for illegally cutting hills. The illegally constructed road over the railway line has been closed to facilitate soil transportation.
