BRAC Bank TARA gives free bike ride training to women

BRAC Bank TARA aims to empower women in every spheres of life.

Since its inception, TARA introduced a number of initiatives to empower women financially and socially.

As part of it, TARA lives up to its promise to women empowerment. For the first time in Bangladesh, BRAC Bank started bike ride training for women in partnership with Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) of ACI Motors, said a press release.

In this fast and busy urban life, motorcycle riding among women is on the rise. It gives women the liberty to move, better manage time and also help develop self-esteem.

The morning of April 27, 2019 was exciting and adventuring for the 10 aspiring women riders who took to the rider’s seat for the first time in their life. Professional trainers of Yamaha Riding Academy gave firsthand training to the first batch of 10 women at BG Press Field, Tejgaon, Dhaka. BRAC Bank has special reward to the riders who can avail TARA Bike Loan with 100% processing fee waiver after completion of the four-day outdoor training.
