At the initiative of Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) discussion, doa mhafil and prayer were held in Chattogram in remembrance of July uprising martyrs on Wednesday.
The program was held at 11 am in the meeting room of the corporation's head office.
Bangladesh Petroleum Corporation (BPC) Chairman Md. Amin ul Ahsan presided over the program.
Senior officers and employees of BPC and various companies under it were present at the meeting.
At the beginning of the program, a minute's silence was observed in memory of those killed in the July Uprising and prayers were offered seeking the forgiveness of the souls of the martyrs.
At the meeting, the family members of the martyrs and injured in the July Uprising expressed their feelings and expectations.
The speakers said, "The July Revolution is an important chapter in the history of Bangladesh.
This revolution opened up new horizons in the governance of the country. The sacrifice of the martyrs is a source of inspiration for the new generation."
They expected everyone to agree to build a new Bangladesh based on the July Uprising.
