In Kalihati, Tangail, rice collection activities have been inaugurated from internal boro paddy and rice mill owners through Krishak App. For this, the collection price of rice has been fixed at Tk 40 per kg and the price of paddy has been fixed at Tk 27 per kg. Local MP Hasan Imam Khan Sohel Hazari inaugurated the Boro Paddy Rice procurement program by cutting the ribbon while attending the Kalihati Food Warehouse as the chief guest on Thursday morning.
Chairman of Upazila Parishad Anshar Ali, Vice Chairman Akhtaruzzaman and others were present as special guests under the chairmanship of Upazila Nirbahi Officer Nazmul Hussain.
Among others present on the occasion were Upazila Agriculture Officer Sajjad Hossain Talukder, Upazila Project Implementation Officer Sehab Uddin, Upazila Food Controller NM Rafiqul Alam, Upazila Awami League Treasurer Ajay Kumar De Sarkar.
