Transport workers enforced buses in different districts of the country for third day protesting implementation of new road transport act, causing immense sufferings to people.

People are moving for destination by different types of local vehicles with extra fare.

On Wednesday, after visiting various places it was seen that few buses were moving from Bogura Bus Terminal.

Many transport workers hand over vehicle's key to their owner. Meanwhile, some vehicles are taking two times extra fare from the passengers.

Passengers of that area claimed that, contractor was demanding Tk100 from them. From Bogura to Sirajganj they took Tk50 from the passengers, but on Wednesday, they are taking Tk100 to Tk150 from them. As there is no alternative ways, we have to go on extra fair.

As there is no transport, many were gathering at the Railway Station. Many passengers returned to home, as they did not find any alternatives.

Organizing Secretary of Bogura District Motor Workers Union, Abdul Gafur said, as new transport law has introduced drivers are reluctant to drive vehicles. In fact, no vehicles movement were seen at the Bogura Bus Terminal on Wednesday.
