Police recovered the floating body of an unidentified person from the Ichhamati River at Nawabganj upazila in Dhaka on Monday
afternoon.
The body, aged approximately 55, was recovered from Bagmara Bazar ghat area of the upazila. The body had black t-shirt, black pants and black gloves at hand.
Nawabganj thana sub-inspector munshi Ashikur Rahman said, being informed by locals, a team of police reached the spot and recovered the body. The body has been sent to Salimullah Medical College and Hospital for autopsy.
