Body of missing Muradul recovered from river

Kishoreganj police have recovered the decomposed body of a youth named Muradul Haque (25) who has been missing for two and a half months. His body was recovered from the Narsunda River near Parabhanga village in Sadar upazila around 11am on Friday. The deceased was identified as Muradul. He is the son of Mofizul Haque of the same village.

According to local sources, Muradul was a battery-powered three-wheeler driver.  He had been gone missing for the last two and a half months.  His father Mofizul made a general diary (GD) at Kishoreganj Model Police Station regarding the disappearance.

While fishing in the Narsunda River near Parabhanga village on Friday morning, a local fisherman saw the body floating under the water hyacinth. He later reported the matter to the police through locals.  Police recovered the body of the youth from the spot.

Upon receiving the news, the family members came to the spot and identified the body as Muradul.

Kishoreganj Model Police Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mohammad Daud said Muradul's body was sent to the morgue of Kishoreganj 250-bed General Hospital for autopsy. 

Necessary legal action is being taken in this regard.
