Awami League General Secretary Obaidul Quader addressed the BNP and said, 'Forget the daydream of amending the Constitution. Forget caretaker government. There will be no more caretaker government.

Obaidul Quader said these things at a public meeting organized by Chittagong Metropolitan, North and South District Awami League at the polo ground of the city on Sunday (December 4) afternoon. Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was present as the chief guest under the leadership of City Committee Acting President Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury.

Addressing Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, Obaidul Quader said, 'You say- the government is spoiling your sleep. Oh, the sleep is actually losing the leader Sheikh Hasina. Sheikh Hasina cannot sleep with the thought that the people of the country should not suffer and sleep in peace.

This top leader of Awami League said, "The game will be played" referring to the large gathering of people in the public meeting. Mr. Fakhrul, you come and see. History has been created by Sheikh Hasina's polo ground rally. An ocean! All the waves of Karnaphuli, the waves of the Bay of Bengal - all the waves are here today, come and see Chittagong city. Veer Chattla wakes up. Listen to the roar of the ocean. If you don't listen, tell Amir Khusru, Abdullah Al Noman and Mir Nashir to listen.'

Regarding the BNP rally, he said, 'Those who have emptied the chests of many mothers in our country, the tears of childless mothers, the tears of husbandless brides... The party that gave bail to the murderer of Bangabandhu, those who tried to kill Sheikh Hasina, the name of the party is BNP-Bangladesh Nalish Party. Workers come to BNP rallies with difficulty, pull up tents, get bitten by mosquitoes, and sleep with lots of blankets. And Fakhrul Saheb lives in AC room. They only have money and money. Dubai money They held a rally with sacks of money.

Minister in charge of Road Transport and Bridges Ministry Obaidul Quader also said, 'If Bangladesh is to be saved, Awami League must be saved. There is no alternative to Sheikh Hasina for democracy, development and achievement. The game will happen. The game will be played this December.

Awami League presidium member Engineer Mosharraf Hossain described various development activities in Chittagong and said, "Prime Minister has done a lot for Chittagong." We Chittagong residents will never be able to repay this debt.

One thing, Kalurghat Bridge, you (Sheikh Hasina) promised late MP Badal Bhai in front of me - you will build the bridge. We know that there is a dedicated railway line from Chittagong to Cox's Bazar. The people of Chittagong want to hear from you the announcement of a dedicated road bridge with rail bridge at Kalurghat.

Another presidium member Jahangir Kabir Nanak said, 'Zia, BNP, Khaleda, Ershad together captured the democracy of Bangladesh. People's leader Sheikh Hasina freed that captive democracy and established the right to vote and rice. Today I hear about democracy and voting from BNP. Do not shy? The BNPE stole the vote in the dead of night, taking 99.5 percent of the votes through yes-no votes. I have been hearing a lot of bullying from BNP leaders about December 10. I want to tell Mirza Fakhrul Sahib clearly - If you exaggerate, the result will not be good. If you hit a brick, you have to eat jute. If the ghee does not rise on the straight fingers, the fingers will be bent.

Presidium member Abdur Rahman said, "An evil force is saying - it will not go to the elections without a caretaker government, will not allow elections to be held." The people of Bangladesh do not want to see any unconstitutional, undemocratic power in power. Election Commission is enough for fair elections. The public meeting in Chittagong has proved that the Awami League will win the next election and come back to power, Sheikh Hasina will be the Prime Minister again.
