12Information and Broadcasting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud, addressing the BNP, said, "Those who cannot maintain unity on their own are calling for the fall of the government again! Now they are talking about forming a unity process, but they do not have unity among themselves.”

The minister was speaking as the chief guest at the triennial conference of Rajshahi's Durgapur Upazila Awami League on Thursday afternoon.

Noting that the BNP is not on the ground, the minister said, The BNP's statement of forming unity does not make sense as they cannot assemble and they fight among themselves in the name of assembly. '

Dr Hasan Mahmud said, "Actually, the head of the BNP has gone bad because they have been out of state power for a long time. Sitting in the Naya Paltan office, they ring the farewell bell of Awami League every day but no one responds. In fact, they are ringing their farewell bells, not the Awami League's. They have lost their heads because the country has changed in 13 years. Under the leadership of Awami League, the BNP leaders are running propaganda losing their way in this development of the country. Because, they have understood - BNP's farewell bell has rung. People have rejected them. And through this development, Awami League will come to power again. '

"The BNP leaders said that Awami League will not be able to build Padma Bridge. If a power plant is built at Rampal, the Sundarbans will be destroyed. But we have built Padma Bridge with our own funds, Rampal Power Station has been built, Sundarbans has not been damaged. There will be no harm to the environment even if the Payra Thermal Power Plant is set up. Those who spread propaganda about these things do not want development”, the minister added.

Dr Hasan said, "After the BNP's comment on the Padma bridge, now even the fools are laughing at them. They said, it is not possible to build Padma Bridge. But the Padma Bridge is now done. The Prime Minister drove over the bridge and it will be completed very soon. \

Therefore, it is better for the BNP leaders and workers to repent before going over the Padma Bridge. '

Addressing the party workers, the minister said, "The development that the government has done so far is the assurance that people will give vote to the boat symbol.

If any AL supported leader failed to get vote, it should be understood that people did not vote because of the arrogant behavior of the leaders. We don't want to see arrogant behavior. I can't let the development of the country go downhill because of them. '

Regarding leadership, he said, "People who have no hands and do not have relations with the general staff of the party have no right to lead the Awami League. They are not needed in the team. There is no need for those who want to be leaders with money.”

Regarding commodity prices, the Information and Broadcasting Minister said, "Recently, the prices of some products have gone up, it has gone up all over the world. However, our Prime Minister has made arrangements to provide low cost products to 10 million families through family cards, it will continue so that the common man does not suffer.
