Chairman of Awami Jubo League Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash on Tuesday said the BNP boycotted the 12th parliamentary election as the party has become isolated from the people due to their subversive activities in the name of movement.
"The countrymen don't believe BNP due to their anarchy and terrorist activities," he said while addressing winter clothes distribution ceremony in the playground of Govt. Kalachandpur High School and College in the city's Gulshan.
Information and data collected by different intelligence agencies proved that BNP is a terrorist party, Parash said, adding the party in the name of movement killed people and destroyed the country's properties with arson attacks.
Mohammad Wakil Uddin, MP, Jubo League presidium member Enamul Haque Khan, publicity secretary Joydev Nandi, deputy office secretary Md Delwar Hossain Shahjada, among others, spoke at the function organised by Jubo League Dhaka city north unit.
Acting president of Jubo League, Dhaka city north unit, Zakir Hossain Babul presided over the event and its general secretary Ismail Hossain conducted it.
