Blankets, as a gift from Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, were distributed among the helpless, poor, cold-hit and distressed people of Muchibari area under Sadar dakshin upazila of Cumilla on Friday morning.
The warm clothes were distributed under the Ministry of Disaster Management and Relief around 10am. Sadar Dakshin Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Subhasish Ghosh went house to
house in the area and delivered the winter clothes. "The government has allocated the blankets for the poor cold-hit people inthe area to reduce their sufferings. So, the distribution of winter clothes will continue," the UNO said.

and local UP members, among others, were present on the
occasion.
It is to be mentioned that during the winter season, hundreds of thousands of distressed people across the country recieved blanekts, winter clothes from verious government organisations. Authorities have taken projects to reduce the sufferings of cold-hit people.
