The grand finale of BIZ Verse 2024, a prestigious national inter-university business case competition, was held recently at Brac University. The event, organized by the Brac University Business Club (BIZ BEE) and sponsored by Bank Asia, brought together undergraduate students from across Bangladesh to showcase their business skills, problem-solving abilities, and innovative ideas.
The competition aimed to enhance students' communication, teamwork, and entrepreneurial capabilities. It featured two challenging rounds, designed to test the participants' analytical and strategic thinking.
In the final round, ten teams presented their business proposal for a laundry service named "CleanWave." Each team had five minutes for their presentation, followed by a two-minute Q&A session with the judges.
Tashnimul Arshad Tahmid from the University of Dhaka emerged as the champion. Tanzim Noor Tanmoy from the Islamic University of Technology (IUT) secured the first runner-up position, while Manjur E Elahi Turjo from BRAC University achieved the second runner-up spot.
The participants were evaluated by a distinguished panel of judges. Dr. David Dowland, registrar of Brac University, and Dr. Sayla Sowat Siddiqui, assistant professor and
BIZ BEE advisor, praised the finalists for their innovative ideas and commitment to the competition.
The event provided a platform for students to demonstrate their skills and creativity, reinforcing BIZ Verse’s reputation as a leading initiative for fostering future business leaders and innovators in Bangladesh.
