The first book of popular actor and director Toukir Ahmed was published in the Amar Ekushey Book Fair of 2012. It was named 'Protisharon'. After that he published two more books. They were all stage plays.
A new book by the actor is coming to the book fair this time. This is a new experience for Toukir Ahmed. He will be debuting as a poet.
Ekushey Book Fair is publishing the first book of poems by Toukir Ahmed called ‘Ekguccho Kobita’. The cover of the book was designed by his wife actress, director and painter Bipasha Hayat. Toukir Ahmed is delighted by this fact.
Regarding this, the National Film Award recipient actor-director said, ‘Anannya Prokashoni will be publishing my book. Even though I had books published previously, this is a completely different experience. Because this is poetry. And this year's book cover was designed by Bipasha. That's why I am more excited about it.’
