Biman Bangladesh Airlines inaugurated its enhanced capacity and expanded the commercial activities of its Printing and Publishing Department.
The inauguration programme was attended by Shafiul Azim, the Managing Director and CEO of Biman Bangladesh Airlines as the chief guest.
In his opening speech Azim said that the visible improvements across all departments of Biman Bangladesh Airlines are now a matter of pride. “Our efforts are continuing to transform Biman into a smart airline and highlighted the expansion of various sectors, including the Flight Catering Center (BFCC), Poultry Complex, Training Center (BATC), and the Printing and Publication Department.
Azim has also said that Biman press collaborates with both government and private entities, positioning itself as a crucial player in the industry. The facility offers modern printing solutions, contributing significantly to the airline's self-sufficiency.
Director (Administration and Human Resources) Md Shiddikur Rahman, Director (Customer Service) Md. Motiul Islam Chowdhury and Director (Corporate Planning and Training) Captain AKM Aminul Islam were also present among others.
The inauguration saw the demonstration of the Eco Solvent Printing Machine for Digital printing and Inject Printing, symbolizing Biman's embrace of cutting-edge technology.
