A youth was killed and two others injured as their motorbike collided head-on with a bus in the Railway Koshaipara area under Godagari upazila of Rajshahi on Friday afternoon.
The deceased identified as Sadikul Islam, 23, son of Saber Ali, was a resident of Chanduria village under Tanore upazila.
The injured - Razzaque Ali, 40, son of late Tamir Uddin and Raihan Ali, 35, son of Lutfor Rahman - are now undergoing treatment.
Kamrul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Godagari Police Station, said when they were going to Godagari riding on a motorbike, a bus from the opposite direction knocked them down.
Being informed, police and firefighters rescued them and rushed them to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital, where the attending doctors declared Sadikul dead after a few minutes of admission. A case has been lodged with Godagari Police Station.
