Bicycles and scholarships were distributed among 460 students of small ethnic community in Joypurhat on behalf of the Prime Minister in order to improve the quality of life of minor communities on Monday.

Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Abdullah Al Mamun presided over the event while Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Ashok Kumar Thakur spoke as a special guest.
Sadar Upazila Secondary Education Officer Tofazzal Hossain, Primary Education Officer (Acting) Tarek Hossain, Kartik Chandra Singh from minor groups spoke at the programme conducted by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Fazle Wahid.
