Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) recognised Md. Mazadul Hoque, an official of Social Islami Bank Ltd (SIBL), as a certified expert in trade services.
BIBM certified him as he qualified for such prestigious attainment after completing a detailed course on trade related issues practiced in the banks globally. Mazadul joined SIBL in 2012. Prior to joining the bank as senior officer, he served at The Financial Express, the country’s lone English financial daily as a reporter.
He regularly writes articles, views analyses on recent and economic issues in national dailies. He has so far written more than 50 articles on trade, banking, economic and diplomatic issues.
He obtained graduation and post-graduation degrees in Economics from University of Chittagong. Later, he completed Master of Business Administration (MBA) with major Human Resource Management (HRM) from Jahangirnagar University. Presently, he is going to take another trade services related course titled “Domestic and International Factoring” from FCI, a Netherlands based institution.
He is a member of Bangladesh Economic Association (BEA), a platform of economists.
