BGB raided Cox's Bazar's Teknaf Upazila and recovered 2 kg 120 grams of crystal meth ice and 80 thousand pieces of Yaba pills.
This drug was recovered by carrying out this operation in two separate places this Saturday morning.
BGB Teknaf Battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Sheikh Khalid Mohammad Iftekhar said in a press release in the morning that a patrol team of BGB Teknaf 2 Battalion was patrolling Kharankhali area of Teknaf this morning when two drug dealers crossed the Naf River from the Myanmar border and were chased by BGB members. Meanwhile, the two drug dealers fled towards Myanmar.
Later, BGB members searched the area and recovered two kg of crystal meth ice and 30 thousand pieces of Yaba.
On the other hand, at the same time, BGB searched under the seat of an easy bike at the Huaikong check post and recovered 50,000 pieces of yaba. Meanwhile, the driver of the easy bike ran away.
The BGB captain said that two separate cases have been filed at Teknaf police station.
