BGB seizes US$ 80,000 in Damurhuda

Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) raided Chuadanga and seized 80,000 US dollars. On Wednesday, the dollar was seized during a raid in the Phulbari border area of Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga. On behalf of Chuadanga-6 BGB today, Wednesday at 4:30 pm, the matter of dollar detention has been confirmed to the media workers through a press release. According to the notification, the members of Chuadanga-6 BGB came to know on the basis of secret information that the smugglers will smuggle special contraband goods through the Phulbari border area of Damurhuda Upazila of Chuadanga district at 11:30 on Wednesday. Based on the secret news, Naib Subedar, commander of Phulbari border patrol. A patrol led by Ahsan Kabir raided 300 yards inside Bangladesh from Pillar No. 85 of the Phulbari border. At that time, an unidentified person, sensing the presence of the BGB, ran away, dropping a bag. Later BGB members seized the bag and recovered 80 thousand US dollars wrapped in paper inside the bag. The process of depositing the seized US dollars at the Chuadanga Treasury Office is underway.
