Inter Battalion Taekwondo Competition of southeast region the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) ended at 58 battalion’s ground at Moheshpur of Jhenidah on Wednesday evening. Moheshpur battalion bagged the championship trophy, while the Nildumur battalion bagged runners up trophy in four-day completion.
BGB 58 battalion assistant director Nazrul Islam Khan said the competition for the year 2020 began on January 5 where a total of 92 participated in the competition. BGB south-west regional commander in Jashore sector, sector commander of Kushtia, 58 battalion director and officials among others were present during the competition.
BGB Jashore regional commander Brigadier General Jalal Gani Khan distributed prizes among the winners as chief guest at the concluding ceremony. He also spoke before the BGB personnel to maintain peace and show zero tolerance to drug and smuggling in the frontiers at any cost, 58 battalion assistant director said.
