Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Sunday distributed cattle, rickshaw van and sewing machines to create employment opportunity for the poor people in border area of Thakurgaon to help them fight Corona crisis.
These were distributed on Sunday at the 50 BGB Battalion premises in Thakurgaon with the financial support of Vidyananda Foundation of 50 BGB battalion.
50 BGB battalion Commander Lieutenant Colonel Shahidul Islam, Assistant Director Raj Mahmud and others were present at the occasion.
Captain Lt Col Shahidul Islam said relief was distributed among 5,000 needy families in the remote border areas of the district due to the Corona epidemic. Now, cattle, rickshaw van and sewing machines are being distributed to create employment.
