BSF returns Bangladeshi’s body after 21 days

The border security force (BSF) of India returned the body of a Bangladeshi national after 21 days of killing at Moheshpur upazila in Jhenidah on Sunday night. 

On the other hand , the Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) personnel of 58 battalion, had detained four other persons on Monday morning when they entered Bangladesh from neighboring India.

BGB 58 battalion director Lieutenant Colonel Qamrul Ahsan confirmed the matter.

BGB sources said both the BGB and their counterpart BSF sat for a commander level flag meeting near the main pillar at Palianpur of bordering Moheshpur at about 9.00 PM on Sunday. 

Later the Indian policemen returned the body of Abdur Rahim to Moheshpur thana police. Abdur Rahim, son of Abul Kashem of Bauli village of Moheshpur, entered India territory to bring cattle heads on November 3 last. He was caught and gunned down by the BSF men of 99 Narayanpur battalion in India. 

About arrest of four persons, BGB sources said that the four including two women were detained from bordering Jaluli Mathapara area in Moheshpur. Later, they were handed over to Moheshpur police station. The number of illegal infiltrators toll to 229 in last four days, BGB sources said.
