A local non-government development organisation named Beneficiaries Friendship Forum (BFF) delivered food items to the houses of 100 poor families in Lakshmipur area of Faridpur Sadar upazila on Monday morning.
Faridpur Sadar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Md. Masum Reza inaugurated the food distribution program in Faridpur Sadar upazila. Executive Director of BFF ANM Fazlul Hadi Sabbir, Program Officer Shahidul Islam Sohag and Md. Zahiruddin were also present at the tome.
Later, the Executive Directors and officers of BFF delivered 5 kg rice, 2 kg flour, 2 kg potatoes, 1 kg pulses, 500 gm salt, two masks and a soap as relief to 100 unemployed poor families in Sadar upazila, maintaining social distance.
ANM Fazlul Hadi Sabbi said, “With a portion of BFF staff’s salary and the help of some of our well-wishers, we delivered food items to the houses of 100 poor families who became unemployed due to corona virus crisis”. He said that their activities will continue in the future too.
