Financial assistance was provided to the well-wishers of Beneficiary's Friendship Forum (BFF) at the initiative of the forum in coordination with Faridpur Sadar Upazila Administration amid the corona crisis on Monday.
At the time, food items were distributed among 75 low-income unemployed families in Dikrir Char, Ambikapur and Charmadhabdia Unions of the upazila.
Anam Fazlul Hadi Sabbir, Executive Director of BFF, along with other members of the forum delivered the food items to people's houses. Mehedi Hasan Mintu, Chairman of Dikrir Char Union Parishad was present during the distribution. Each family received 5 kg rice, 1 kg pulses, 1 litre oil, 2 kg potatoes, 500 gram chickpeas, 500 gram flattend rice, 500 gram sugar, 500 gram salt, a mini soap and a mask as relief.
