Bangladesh's first match under the new Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) committee took place on Wednesday, where they faced a 0-1 defeat against the Maldives at Kings Arena. Following the loss, BFF's new president, Tabith Awal, visited the team hotel on Thursday morning.

During breakfast, he met with the players and coaching staff, offering words of encouragement for the next match. "What happened in the last match? The president gave the inspiration to avoid as many mistakes as possible to win the next match and to play the best game," said manager Amer Khan.

Tabith Awal also extended a courtesy visit to the Maldives team at the breakfast table, exchanging greetings with their players and officials. "The president exchanged greetings not only with the Bangladesh team, but also with the players and officials of the Maldives. Which is basically the spirit of sports," added the manager.

As the chairman of the national team committee, Tabith Awal was present at the stadium for the match and spent about an hour at the team hotel the following morning. Unlike previous BFF presidents who would visit with the general secretary and other officials, Awal made this visit alone.
