The final of the 'Bangabandhu Gold Cup Football Tournament' (under-17) was held on the playground of Shahid Abdul Khaleq Stadium in Bera on Monday.
Bera Municipal Ekadash defeated Haturia Nakalia Union Ekadash by 2-0 goal at the final of the tournament.
However, Bera Upazila administration with the help of Youth and Sports Ministry organised the football tournament.
Event organisers said this tournament has started with nine union and a municipal, a total of 10 team from 12th September. Drill teacher of Nakalia Sharashia Bonik High School Shahanaj Sagor acted as the referee of the final game.
UNO of Bera upazila Asif Anam Siddique presided over the prize distributing ceremony while former State Minister for Home Affairs and lawmaker of Pabna-1 constituency Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku attended as chief guest.
Chairman of Bera upazila parishad Md Abdul Kadir and police officer in charge of Bera Circle Sheikh Zillur rahman were present as special guest.
Later, Advocate Shamsul Haque Tuku distributed prizes between winner and runner up team of the football tournament.
