Jahidul Islam, Superintendent of Police (SP) in Chuadanga, has said, “Not only govern your children, but also love them. Behave with them in friendly manner. We are servants of the people. We are here to serve you. We do not come here to show an angry glance.”
He said these while speaking at a views exchange meeting on law and order on Vogail Bogadi High School premises at Alamdanga upazila of the district on Monday (November 11).
The meeting was presided over by Ashabul Hoque Thandu, a member of Zila Parishad of Chuadanga, while it was addressed, among others, by Kolimullah, ASP, Sayeed Ashikur Rahman, OC of Alamdanga police station, Kajol Rekha, a member of Zila Parishad, Motiar Rahman, headmaster of Vogail Bogadi High School, Shjibar Rahman, general secretary of Bhangbaria union awamileague, Hafizur Rahman, president of Vogail Bogadi High School's managing committee and Jenarul Islam Biswas, secretary of Meherpur Polli Biddyut Samity.
Farmers, businessmen, common people and students of educational institutes took part at the meeting. Many women also attended the meeting.
Jahidul Islam called upon all for help the police to maintain law and order situation in the areas.
