Rangpur Metropolitan Police (RpMP) Commissioner Md. Moniruzzaman on Tuesday visited Tajhat Police Station in Rangpur city.
He exchanged views with all policemen of the police station.
The RpMP police commissioner was felicitated by Tajhat police station. He was given a guard of honour. After receiving the guard of honour, he inspected the guard.
Later, in the exchange meeting, the RpMP police Commissioner emphasized the issue of eliminating drugs and gambling from the city.
He also directed all the policemen to behave well with the people. He urged not to harass people.
Md. Moniruzzaman ordered to provide Rangpur city people with the highest level of service. The boss of RpMP also gave necessary directions to improve the law and order situation. He urged every police personnel to become the people's police which was dream of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.
He instructed to work towards building his dream Bangladesh.
Later he signed the police station inspection’s book and visited the police station compound along with warehouses and armory.
RpMP Additional Police Commissioner (Crime and Operations) Uttam Kumar Pal and Deputy Commissioner (Crime) Md. Abu Maruf Hossain, among others were present.
