For the second consecutive time Bangladesh Computer Society (BCS) is going to organize BTRAC Technologies ICT Cricket Tournament 2023 scheduled to start from February 26. A total of 16 teams from various IT institutions are participating in this cricket tournament.
BCS vice-president Md. Rashed Ali Bhuiyan and also the convener of the game organizing committee informed this during a press conference held BCS Innovation Center in Dhanmondi on Saturday.
He said, “We have received a good response for this tournament. Hence we are organizing the cricket tournament for the second time. This event is aimed at networking and entertaining IT professionals. BCS member companies and individuals related to information technology can overcome business fatigue by involving themselves in the tournament.”
Rashed Ali Bhuiyan said that the champion team of this year’s ICT cricket tournament will get a trophy and Tk 1 lakh. Runners up team will get trophy and Tk 50000. The man of the match in the daily game will get Tk 2000 and the man of the match in the final game will get Tk 5000. Man of the tournament will get Tk 10000.
At the end of the press conference, the jerseys of the 16 teams participating in the tournament were unveiled.
BCS President Engineer Subrata Sarkar, Joint convener of the tournament committee Akhtaruzzaman Titu, BCS secretary general Md. Monirul Islam and representatives of sponsor organizations and 16 teams were present at the press conference.
