The 12th season of the Bangladesh Championship League (BCL) football 23-’24, country’s second-tier professional football league will begin from today at the Bir Sherestha Shaheed Shipahi Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Stadium, Kamalapur.
Fakirerpool Youngman’s Club will take on BFF Elite Football Academy team in the inaugural match at 3:15p.m.
A total of eight teams will take part in the league.
After an interval of tomorrow (Tuesday), league will resume again from Wednesday with two matches to place at the same ground with NoFel Sporting Club will face off PWD Sports Club at 1 pm while Wari Club will meet Farashganj Sporting Club.
Dhaka Wanderers Club will commence their campaign with taking on Uttara Football Club Limited at 3:15 pm on Friday.
The first phase of the league will be ended on March 17.
