Three people including a member of banned terrorist organisation Bangladesh Chattra League (BCL) have been arrested over various cases at Dhanbari upazila in Tangail.
Police conducted separate drives in the upazila on Monday night and arrested them from different places in the upazila.
The arrested men are BCL activist Nur Alam Papon Miah, 36; an accused of a case Uzzal Hossain Nirob, 30; and Shakil Hossain, 26.
The arrested people have been sent to Tangail Jail on Tuesday morning, said SM Shahidullah, officer-in-charge of Dhanbari Police Station.
