Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal has been appointed as the 18th Attorney General of Bangladesh.
Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs Ministry issued a notification in this regard on Wednesday.
Barrister Ruhul Quddus was appointed under the article 64(1) of the Constitution, said the notification.
The appointment will come into effect immediately, it added.
